Education and Training

Hymavathi Voleti (M.A Kuchipudi), Disciple of Guru, Padmasri Dr.

Sobha Naidu, is a passionate performer and teacher of Kuchipudi

Dance. She has completed the ‘Natya Visarada’ course and presented

her solo recital ‘Kuchipudi Rangapravesam’ from Srinivasa Kuchipudi

Art Academy, Hyderabad, India in the year 2015. She has been

training students in the basics of Kuchipudi dance since 2010.She has

done her post-graduation in Performing Arts from Hyderabad Central

University (UOH), Hyderabad, India.

In 2021, she founded the Shobha Mirai School of Dance, specializing

in Kuchipudi dance. Presently, she imparts her teachings to students

worldwide, operating branches in Hyderabad, India, as well as

Irvine and Costa Mesa, CA, USA.

● Member of International Dance Council (CID - United Nations of Dance) - 2023 

● Member of Dance Artiste Panel and a Graded Artistefrom Doordarshan Prasar Bharati (National Broadcasting Corporation of India) - 2012

● Qualified for Assistant Professor certified by National Testing Agency - University Grants Commission, India - 2021.

● Recipient of ‘Natya Brahmari’ Award - Presented by Sathyaanjali Academy of Kuchipudi Dance, Cochin, Kerala (Nritya Samarpana Dance Festival – 2015).

● ‘Natya Sharada Award’ – Presented by Kalpashree Performing Arts Centre, Karnataka, India.

● ‘Natya Visharadha’, An excellence award presented by Srinivasa Kuchipudi Art Academy , Hyderabad, India.

● ‘Nritya Vilasini’ – A plaque of honor, presented by SAIL & Nrityathi Kalakshetram, Bhilai, India.

● Recipient of Guinness Book of World Record for being a part of the largest Kuchipudi Dance consisting of 2,850 participants achieved by Silicon Andhra in Hyderabad, India.
